Greater Gwent

On the weekend of the 19th and 20th October a number of swimmers from the City of Newport swimming club took part in the Greater Gwent Fastwater open meet. It was a very interesting meet with swimmers from all squads from the club competing.
The City of Newport won countless medals across all the squads and there were an amazing amount of personal best times recorded, especially due to the time of the season. There were many stand out swims, far too many to mention in fact, but a special mention must go to Jack Knight who won top boy.
