HEAD COACH:  Mr James Goodwin

Head coach James Goodwin is a former National level swimmer and UKCC Level 3 swimming coach. James is a graduate of University of Wales Newport in Sports Coaching (BSc Hons and MSc). In addition to his role within the City of Newport Swimming Club, James is a regular coach for the Swim Wales Skills and Regional squads.

ASSISTANT COACH (DEVELOPMENT):  Mr Alan Roberts

Assistant coach Alan Roberts is a level 2 swimming teacher and has a certificate with the N.S.P.C.C. for children in sport. Alan has been involved with the City of Newport Swimming Club since 1996, teaching and coaching the squads at all levels. Alan has coached children with various abilities including working with full able-bodied and disabled swimmers.
