Regional Performance 2 is the City of Newport’s third performance squad. The squad is for swimmers aged 8 -14 years who show the potential and ambition to compete at regional and national level in competitive swimming. Regional Performance 2 offers up to 7.5 hours of swimming training per week in accordance with British Swimming’s Long Term Athlete Development plan.

Weekly Training Times at NISV

Monday: 4.30-5.30pm

Thursday: 6.00-7.30am / 6.30-7.30pm

Friday: 4.30-5.30pm

Sunday: 6.00-8.00pm

All swimmers are asked to arrive on poolside 15 minutes before the start of the session in order to conduct a thorough land warm up.
