Academy 1A is the City of Newport’s entry level squad for swimmers who have achieved ASA stage 6 or above (or equivalent) and are looking to develop technique and aquatic skills across all areas of competitive swimming. Academy 1A offers 1-2 hours of swimming training per week in accordance with British Swimming’s Long Term Athlete Development plan. Academy 1A squad prides itself on providing a safe, fun and challenging introduction to competitive swimming.

Weekly Training Times

Friday: 7.00-8.00pm (Active Living Centre)

Sunday: 9.00-10.00am (Active Living Centre)
