Jonathan Eke tops European rankings

Congratulations to the City of Newport’s Jonathan Eke on an extremely successful British Disability short course championships. Jonathan produced some outstanding performances throughout the meet. The highlight came in the Men’s 400m Freestyle, where Jonathan placed 1st and produced the fastest time this year in Europe and second fastest in the World! The club are very proud of him.

Also representing the City of Newport at the event was Liam Walsh. Liam also produced some very good swims, setting numerous pb’s over the weekend.
